Established in 2017, Our Ceremony was born out of a love of love. Our Ceremony Officiant Monica Kearins – Mac Donald has been happily married for over 37 years and counting and has always had a real passion for helping people capture and create special memories for families and generations to come.

Monica’s personal and warm approach means that she will truly listen to what you and your partner/family want and will endeavor to make your occasion personal, special and most importantly about you and your beliefs and values. Our Ceremony celebrates all people and life events with love, joy and inclusion and would be honoured to incorporate any unique family traditions, spiritual elements or art, poetry and song into your ceremony to reflect the wonderful ways you may express yourself and your love.

About Monica…

Monica’s Wedding experience originates from owning beauty salons in Sligo and Galway. The bridal aspect always held a special place, drawing her into the wedding business. Her time in the USA exposed her to diverse and personalized wedding ceremonies, which resonated with her deeply. Monica’s background with fashion events and MC skills further enriched her offerings.

However, it was her profound “Love-of-Love” that set the stage for her journey and with her previous creative job set the path and Our Ceremony was born in 2017
As a people person, Monica’s positive energy, respect for others, and personal touch define her services.

Garda vetted through her volunteer work, she radiates a deep commitment to brightening the lives of those she encounters. Happily married with two grown sons, family and people hold paramount importance in her life….
